We are absolutely delighted to announce that Julie Dawn Cole is joining us at Abbey-Con 2026! 🎉

Julie made her screen debut as the unforgettable Veruca Salt in the 1971 classic Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory — and we’re thrilled to have her joining us for what promises to be an amazing day! 🍬🎬

Julie has gone on to enjoy a fantastic career, appearing in numerous TV shows and productions throughout the 1970s, 80s, 90s and 2000s.

You may know Lizzie as the voice of Horrid Henry (a role that earned her a BAFTA nomination!), but that's just the beginning! She's also brought to life beloved characters in Alphablocks, Bob the Builder, Isadora Moon, and even Cutie the Elephant in the award-winning video game It Takes Two.

🎤 With an incredible career spanning animation, television and gaming, Lizzie has been entertaining families for years. But her work doesn't stop behind the microphone! She's passionate about helping young people build confidence through public speaking and works with schools, businesses and Milton Keynes University Hospital to support children during hospital visits.

John is best known to millions of viewers for his iconic role as the notorious Nick Cotton in EastEnders — one of the most memorable villains in British soap history. His unforgettable portrayal of “Nasty Nick” made him a true television legend.

Her impressive career also spans several iconic films, including multiple James Bond adventures such as Die Another Day (Ice Palace scenes), A View to a Kill, The Living Daylights, and Octopussy.

His impressive credits include work on Sooty, Dodge’s Pup School, and the Netflix hit The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (come on Netflix… we need more! 😉). Chris has been a lead and assistant puppeteer on many amazing creations, helping bring unforgettable characters to life.

We're incredibly honoured that Abbey-Con remains the only event Brenda has attended, and we're thrilled to be welcoming her back for her third consecutive year.

Best known as the voice and performer behind Soo, the sensible panda from The Sooty Show, Brenda has brought joy to generations of fans. Alongside her iconic voice work, she's enjoyed a distinguished career in theatre and has made numerous television appearances throughout the years.
